Women Accompany Jesus & the Disciples ~
Hmmm . . . ever heard that the Bible is sexist? God only likes men? Well, apparently those who believe that haven't ever read the Bible. Jesus healed everybody - men & women. He spoke to everybody - men & women. He allowed both men & women to be disciples. Many woman traveled with Jesus. Luke let's us know that these women weren't dependent on the men - they weren't there just as beggars. They were independently able to support themselves & they were active in Jesus' ministry. Pretty awesome. Aren't you glad Jesus sees you as a human being, nothing more or less. He doesn't care about your gender, race, or the deeds you've done. He just cares about you. Isn't that what you've always wanted?
